ITINERARY
Sunday, 16 August – Dockton Park and Marina, Quartermaster Harbor, Maury Island (POYC – Dockton approximately 26.5 miles)
- 5pm Happy hour and heavy hors d’oeuvres potluck, BYOB Restrooms on shore, kids play area, beachcombing, and hiking trails.
Monday, 17 August & Tuesday 18 August – Penrose Point State Park (approximately 18.5 miles via Hale Passage and under Fox Island Bridge: (Height 31’) or just a bit more distance passing south of Fox Island with no bridge height restriction) No shellfish harvesting for 2026.
- Monday 5pm Happy hour, 6pm Potluck Dinner & Dessert, BYOB
- Tuesday 9AM, Continental Breakfast provided by POYC. Dinner: Ribs, Coleslaw, Potato Salad, Cookies provided by POYC, BYOB
- ACTIVITIES: No shellfish harvesting. Hiking, Beach Combing, Dinghy ride to shopping in Home, (Von Geldern Cove)
Wednesday, 19 August & Thursday 20 August – Swantown Marina 1022 Marine Dr NE, Olympia, WA 98501 (approximately 21 miles)
- Wednesday 5pm happy hour BYOB, Dinner on your own or pot luck
- Thursday Continental Breakfast provided, Group Dinner at a local restaurant, Dutch treat.
- ACTIVITIES: Olympia farmers market, Capitol tour/ walk the grounds, play in the fountain near Percival Landing, Shopping, Cafés, Restaurants, …
Friday, 21 August & Saturday, 22 August – Fair Harbor Marina 5050 Grapeview Loop Rd, Grapeview, WA 98546, (approximately 21 miles under Pickering Passage Bridge (Height 31’; approximately 25 miles via Danas Passage, no bridge to pass under)
- Friday 5pm Happy hour and heavy hors d’oeuvres potluck, BYOBExplore the area via dinghy, Coconut Bowling.
- Saturday 9am Continental Breakfast, build your own. Taco dinner, provided by POYC
Sunday, 23 August & Monday,24 August - Jarrell Cove State Park 391 E Wingert Rd, Shelton, WA 98584. (approximately 5 miles)
- Sunday 5pm happy hour BYOB and 6pm Potluck dinner
- Monday 5pm happy hour BYOB, 6pm dinner, build your own Chef Salad, provided by POYC
- ACTIVITIES: Hike, Explore the Cove, shopping nearby via dinghy, another round of Coconut Bowling?
Tuesday, 25 August & Wednesday 26 August– Longbranch Improvement Club Marina 5213 Key Peninsula Hwy SW, Longbranch, WA 98351 (approximately 15.2 miles)
- Tuesday 5pm Happy hour and heavy hors d’oeuvres potluck, BYOB
- Wednesday 5pm happy hour, 6pm Burgers and Brat’s, Provided by POYC. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share
- ACTIVITIES: Great view of Mt. Rainier, Tour the shoreline, Field to let kids or pets run just up the hill.
Thursday, 27 August – Arabella’s Landing Marina, Gig Harbor (approximately 15 miles)
- 5pm happy hour on the dock, farewell dinner at a local restaurant, Dutch Treat
Friday, 28 August – End of POYC Commodores South Sound Cruise. Depending on the weather forecast, Magic Carpet plans to head into Lake Washington for several days, then hang out around Bainbridge Island and end our summer journeys at Bremerton YC for our Labor Day weekend

MOORAGE INFORMATION
Dockton Park and Marina Moorage rates per night are: $20.00 for boats up to 26 feet, $25.00 for boats over 26 feet - 32 feet, $30.00 for boats 33 feet and up. No power, water or reservations. Anchoring nearby is allowed and dinghy tie up is generally available.
Penrose Point State Park Power is possible on the dock. No reservations, 270’ of dock, 6 mooring buoys and anchorages in Mayo Cove. Washington State Marine Park Fee Summary: Annual Permit: 1 Jan – 31 Dec, $7.00 per foot (minimum $80.00) non transferrable to another vessel. Per night: Dock: $1.00 per foot (minimum $23.00) If power is available, $6.00 per plug in per night. Buoys: $23.00 per night
Swantown Marina Moorage Rate per day is: $1.50 per foot plus $5.00 electricity.

Fair Harbor Marina Moorage rate per day is: $1.65 per foot plus $15.00 which includes electricity, laundry and showers.

POYC has reserved dock. Pay for moorage on arrival.

Arabella’s Landing Marina Moorage rates per day are: 35’ slip - $52.50, 50’ slip - $75.00, 60’ slip - $90.00, includes electricity.
